J.Richard Biel, principal of the firm, was born January 14, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Mr. Biel has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1986. After operating a successful accounting practice in Corpus Christi, Texas he returned to law school to continue his academic achievements and graduated with honors from South Texas College of Law-Houston in 1999.

As both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Biel understands the legal and tax issues you may be facing. He uses both accounting experience and legal knowledge to advise his clients. Knowledge of tax consequences is important to financial, business, and estate planning.
